Delivering Unique Benefits Daily
Big ticket items always get ordered…but having the pump, valve or flange without the means to assemble it does no good. Being able to access the absolutely correct and compliant fastener is critical. Mackson understands and delivers so you can deliver.
Legacy of Critical Success
Mackson Inc. was founded by Bill Blackwell in 1984 and the derivation of the company’s namesake is an interesting story.

As the story goes, Bill’s father, Mack Blackwell, started his career at DuPont and moved onto the Quality Assurance Department of Duke Energy.
Mack was a friend to everyone and he excelled in many positions throughout his outstanding career.
Mack’s son, Bill, started a parts distribution company along the way and often when someone in Duke’s purchasing department was looking for a unique part for one of the many the plants, a frequent response was “call Mack’s son”, hence the name Mackson stuck.
In the years following, the Mackson name became synonymous with being the most trusted supplier of specialized nuclear fasteners and other nuclear components across the nuclear industry. The team at Mackson has well over 100 years of experience and we understand the unique challenges of the nuclear industry; we truly live and breathe the tagline: When it has to be right.TM
On March 3, 2017, Mackson came back to its principled roots and charting its own future course of success under new ownership as a Tioga® Company. According to Hill Muse, the long-standing Business Manager and employee since 1994, “it’s great to be back to the old Mackson tradition of having great people focusing on customer needs by way of sales, service and quality with the new wrinkle of forward thinking ownership”.
One might venture to say: “Mackson is back, son”.
